Every month I need to go to the Vodafone website to print a copy of my mobile bill in order to submit my expenses. Every month I have to click 17 times to get this bit of paper. Every time it infuriates me. So that is 12 times a year I have a bad user experience with Vodafone. Guess how I feel about their brand….

If you can beat this for a truly awful user experience for a very simple task do let us know and they can join our hall of shame.

If you care, here are the steps…

  • Go to Vodafone site and click ‘Login’
  • Click ‘Login to My Vodafone’
  • Enter user name
  • Enter password
  • Click ‘Login Now’
  • Click ‘View my bills’
  • Click ‘View invoices’ tab
  • Click ‘Total charges including VAT for your latest bill’
  • Click ‘Download your bill here’
  • Bill pdf shows in browser but does not print properly so I have to:
  • Click ‘Download document’
  • Select ‘Original bill’ and click ‘OK’
  • Click ‘Download’
  • Click on downloaded zip file
  • Opens in explorer window, double click pdf labelled PAGE0
  • Print page (a further 2 clicks)
