App testing news

Over the last month or so Web Usability has been getting to grips with user testing apps. The number of these is growing exponentially and, while many are great, there are even more that aren't very useful or aren't very usable, so there is clearly a need to test these with users to ensure they work properly.

Testing apps is not straightforward because we need to be able to observe and record the testing. There are a large number of smart phones and platforms to test on and you can't always mirror the device desk top. Also, users want to be able to hold the device and don't want to be encumbered with wires. However, we seem to have cracked it and if you want to know more have a look at our article of app testing.

So we are now geared up and capable of user testing apps on a range of devices. If you want to know more give Peter Collins a ring on 01249 444757 or send him an email peter@webusability.co.uk
